Sunday's True Confession: I am a "Time Traveler"

First there was Angry Birds.  Then Temple Run.  Now, it's Candy Crush.

The day I downloaded this game, it was the beginning of the end.  While refusing to a) pay for lives and b) to connect my account to facebook for others to see my (impressive) progress, I found a different way to earn continual play, most commonly referred to as "time traveling."  With a few swipes on your iPad or iPhone, you can be on your merry way without waiting for 20 minutes/turn, or, sometimes worse, a whole day.  The only catch is that you'll need to not be bothered that other apps will not update as soon as you're no longer "living" in real time.  Now, if you'll allow me, I need to get back to October 2015...

Happy weekend, gals! Today I am off to the beach to catch some rays (hopefully the sun comes out) and then tomorrow I am off to a wedding, wahoo!

Aren't these sunglasses so Jackie O? I'm thinking about retiring my boxy tortoise shell shades and picking up a more round pair like the Warby Parker Downing shades that I loved so much this night. Hm...what do you think?

That huge building downtown that used to be a book store is now a "super Walgreens". Though I usually try to support small Boston-based businesses, curiosity got the better of me and I decided to check out the Walgreens. I have to say, I was impressed. Here are 6 of the Walgreens offerings I was definitely not expecting:

3. Fresh made sushi

5. Groceries (including natural and organic options)

7. Electronics (They carry the radio alarm clock iHome that I've been looking for!)  

The new Walgreens is definitely a handy resource for us downtowners!
